Petanca is a very popular past time for U3A members. We meet every Thursday afternoon in the winter and evenings in the summer. We are lucky to have a beautiful park to play in where there are well established gardens and a well stocked pond, 6 BBQ´s and picnic benches under cover for all to use and a very friendly Spanish bar to round off the day's play on site.

A very pleasant evening was enjoyed recently by 31 members at Moli de Xirles Restaurant near Polop. Ann and Colin our dining out co-ordinators organise monthly menu del dia meals which are always very popular with our members. They work very hard to vary the choice of restaurants and locations for us and alternate between evenings and lunchtimes to cater for everyone.

A round of crazy golf has become a very popular yearly event for our members and each year more and more join in the fun. This year 18 members turned up at the golf park situated along the seafront in Albir. We always choose a Sunday evening in August when the heat of the day has subsided and there is a breeze coming off the sea.
